On the occasion of celebrating the Heritage Month in its 31st edition, centered around the theme of “Traditional Clothing, a National Identity and a Regional Specificity,” the Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) organizes an animation day at the Archaeological Museum of Gafsa on Sunday, May 15, 2022.
The manifestation involves a promenade at the Medina of Gafsa and its emblematic monuments by women wearing the Gafisan traditional outfit “El-lahfa El-Gafsia.” It also includeds an exposition of the regional traditional clothing in front of the museum where is the Roman Basins Square, offered by the Association of the Conservation of the City of Gafsa, among numerous activities, diverse workshops to promote the Gafsian traditional clothing and its main features and indicators.
