|   Press

Celebrating the Heritage Month of 2022 at the opening night celebration that took place on Monday, April 18, 2022, the Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) has exclusively set up a Virtual Reality application called Djerba VR at its sales point in the City of Culture to be disovered by passers-by.
The AMVPPC enabled the visitors of the City of Culture of Chedli Klibi to witness an immersive experience and discover the features of Djerba Island through the lenses of virtual reality. Visitors had to wear a VR Casque and select one of the virtual experiences showing the Borj Ghazi Mustafa, Fadloun Mosque and the Traditional Heritage Museum in Djerba.
Djerba VR is part of a series of digital projects launched by the AMVPPC in an attempt to raise awareness about Tunisia's cultural and archeological heritage through the use of new technologies.
These VR experiences are to be set up soon in Djerba.
