Within the framework of celebrating the 31st edition of the Heritage Month, the Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) organizes in partnership with the National Insitute of Heritage (INP) and the Regional Delegation of Cultural Affairs of Siliana cultural manifestations under the theme “Traditional Clothing: a National Identity and a Regional specificity” on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the Traditional Heritage Museum of Kesra.
The manifestation involve several diversified sessions that highlights the traditional cultural heritage that the region of Kisra abounds with, namely:
* The display of the traditional clothing specific to the region
* A workshop on the making of the Houli
* Displaying the handicrafts of tapestry
* A workshop on the making and decoration of burnous and Kachabia
* Palanquin Show ( Jahfa Show)
A symposium on “Traditional Clothing: a National Identity and a Regional specificity” entitled “ the Clothing of Kesra as a Model” by the Conservator with the rank of advisor, Ms. Lamia Othman.
The manifestation is concluded by an equestrian show.
