As part of ensuring a better servicing of archaeological sites and monuments, and in parallel to the annual servicing and maintenance campaigns that the Agency carries out through its own means, the Agency for the Development of Heritage and Cultural Promotion (AMVPPC) participates in the implementation of a clean-up campaign that includes all sites and monuments that it supervises, from 8 to 18 May 2022, under the leadership of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs.

Upon the invitation of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs of schools and universities and actors of civil society to volunteer in this national campaign and contribute to clean archaeological sites and monuments in an attempt to conserve the national heritage, the Agency informs that it will provide all the volunteers with logistical means and cleaning products to contribute to the success of this campaign.

It is worth mentioning that alongside its annual campaigns, the AMVPPC continuously carries out maintenance, upkeep and weeding operations in the sites and monuments it administers throughout Tunisia; among which we mention the campaign of March 2022 which targeted the site of Puppet, Borj Kelibia, the site of Kerkouane, the site of Neapolis, Thuburbo Majus in Fahs, the site of Bulla Regia, the Raqqada Museum in Kairouan, the site of Sbeitla, the Habib Bourguiba Museum, Borj Mahdia and the Ennfidha Museum.
